Ed is a seasoned online marketing executive with over 15 years experience developing and executing online marketing strategies for leading domestic and International brands. Since working on one of the first Google accounts in the UK back in 1997, Ed has led SEM efforts for online directories, leading UK retailers, financial and insurance services, as well as a wide range of SMEs and start-up ventures. Today, Ed heads up Search Marketing for Expedia in Europe. Founded in 1998 as a division of Microsoft, Expedia is the world's largest online travel agency. Working with over 149,000 hotels and more than 300 airlines, Expedia helps travellers to find and create the trip that best matches their individual requirements, whilst providing partners access to a highly valuable audience of in-market travel consumers.
