Dave Schwartz almost can’t remember a time when he wasn’t working in search. He currently leads a Sales & Account Strategy team at Criteo, focused on product search, after his previous company, DataPop, was acquired in February of 2015. At DataPop, Dave led all commercial operations as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing to market the first semantic technology to optimize retail product catalogs for search.
Prior to DataPop, Dave served as a category director at Yahoo, where he was responsible for driving marketplace adoption of the company's local search advertising solutions through management of marketing, content, product, and business development teams. He came to Yahoo through the acquisition of Overture Services, the world’s first pay-for-performance ad platform. Dave holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
