As the Director, Audience & Engagement for Hearst Autos – a newly-formed division of Hearst, Scott is helping to lead the efforts to transform the consumer car-buying experience. Hearst Autos brings together the company’s industry-leading automotive media businesses – the consumer brands Car and Driver and Road & Track, business-to-business ad tech solutions company Jumpstart Automotive Group, and Veretech Holdings, Inc. Previously, Scott has held leadership positions in various agencies and brands, including heading the SEO efforts for The Home Depot.
With a background that started in software development and has weaved its way through interface design, online product management, and digital marketing, Scott brings a wealth of perspective and technical knowledge to retail/e-commerce, digital marketing strategy, and enterprise search engine optimization (SEO). Scott’s a frequent speaker on the subject of Digital Marketing, Brand Strategy and Search, including the occasional opportunity to guest lecture at his alma mater, Georgia Tech!
Scott is an avid world traveler and enjoys hiking, biking, and just being outside. He cannot wait for his 2 youngsters to be old enough to join him on his adventures.
