Neil has over 10 years' experience working in the online marketing arena, managing both in house and out sourced campaigns for major brands within a broad range of sectors including, educational, insurance, travel and retail.
Passionate about SEO and with many years experience of website development, usability and accessibility, Neil has a proven track record of developing ethical, integrated SEO campaigns designed to complement existing marketing strategies for major online players and turning search engines into a significant source of both traffic and revenue.
As Development Manager at Tesco.com, Neil implemented and maintained the brand’s search engine optimisation project. His ongoing management raised the importance and profile of the project throughout all business areas and enabled his team to vastly improve the shopping experience provided by one of the world’s largest online retailers.
In February 2007, Neil joined Steak as Head of SEO. Responsible for developing the natural search proposition of one of the UK’s fastest growing digital agencies, he has played a pivotal role in securing contracts with major brands such as Nokia UK, Time Out, 118118 and the BBC Worldwide.
