Why should I attend?
Search Marketing Expo is for search marketing professionals of all skill levels and experience. This event offers:

What are the Expo Hall hours:
We redesigned SMX West 2019 to deliver a more intimate and rewarding training experience. Instead of a traditional Expo Hall, we’re giving leading solution providers a greater space on our agenda, so you can learn from them directly about not only their products and services but their valuable search marketing insights. Together with our expert-led, tactic-rich sessions, you’re guaranteed to get the same high-quality content and actionable takeaways SMX is known for – all at a lower cost and with less time away from the office.

When is the last day to register for the conference?
Registration will be open until the conference ends. We recommend you register early to secure your pass and hotel accommodations. The conference hotel fills up quickly.
What forms of payment are accepted and when is the payment due?
The following forms of payment are accepted: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and check. Payment is required to complete your registration.

Checks must be payable to Third Door Media.
Can more than one person from my company attend?
Absolutely! Bring as many colleagues as you’d like! In fact, we’ve implemented three team ticketing packages at substantial discounts. There are just a few simple rules:
- To qualify for team rates, all registrants must be employed by the same company.
- All members of the team must be registered at the same time.
- Discounts will not be applied retroactively.
- You must pre-register to take advantage of these rates, which will not be offered on-site.
- Team Registration Rates rates cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.

Can I cancel my pass?
You may cancel your attendance by notifying our registration department by fax at (203) 702-5389 or email firstname.lastname@example.org bySaturday, December 15, 2018. Your registration will be refunded less a $100 processing fee. Cancellations after Saturday, December 15, 2018 are non-refundable.
There are no refunds as a result of a riot, strike, civil disorder, act of war, act of God, or any other cause of any kind whatsoever not within the Third Door Media’s reasonable control.
You may transfer your registration to another person within your company at any time by notifying email@example.com. Reselling or raffling SMX registrations is not permitted.

What is the relationship between Search Marketing Expo and Search Engine Land?
SMX is programmed by Search Engine Land, the search marketing industry’s publication of record. That means you get all of the Search Engine Land content you love – live – straight from Search Engine Land’s editors and industry thought leaders.
What are the terms and conditions?
SMX is open to business professionals 18 years and over only. Management may request a business card and photo ID prior to admission.
Third Door Media, Inc. reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary to this program. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to retain speakers and their presentation topics. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of a presentation topic or speaker.
Third Door Media, Inc. reserves the right to use photographs of any Search Marketing Expo attendee in promotional materials.
Third Door Media, Inc. assumes no liability for the acts of its suppliers nor for the safety of any Search Marketing Expo participant while traveling to or from this event. The total liability during the hours of the meeting will be limited to a refund of the delegate fee.

Can I record what is presented at SMX West?
Sessions may be audio recorded without special permission for personal use only. They cannot be placed online or transmitted to others without permission.
Sessions may be videoed only with special permission for personal use and also cannot be placed online or transmitted to others. Short audio and video clips may be used for blogging and press coverage of session. As a general guide, non-contiguous clips of one minute or less should be used. Contact us if you need guidance about longer clips.
