Shane joined Google in 2006 to build high quality online advertising campaigns for companies & agencies throughout the UK. He quickly realised that the quality of his campaigns were dependent on the quality of the sites they were directed at and the quality of those sites were generally not very good. Since 2008, Shane has worked to help Google’s advertisers build better sites and apps across all devices. He wrote the first Google principles on mobile site best practices and has helped many of the largest companies in EMEA improve their experiences, their conversion rates and their profits. Nothing he does today is in any way related to his film-making studies in Denmark or his history and politics degree in Ireland.
