Search Engine Land 2019 Search Marketer of the Year, Male! I run Metric Theory's eCommerce team, which encompasses Amazon Ads, Feed Management, and Google/Bing Shopping strategy. I focus on two responsibilities, 1. Identifying new ways to grow revenue profitably for our advertisers via Amazon, Feed, or Google Shopping tactics. 2. Train my team to understand the ins and outs of eCommerce businesses in order to align our work with their desired outcomes. I love it when we can meet with one of our longstanding clients and see how some of our efforts have impacted their lives.
I've spent the last two years building new units at Metric Theory. In 2017 we had a small feed management offering run by a variety of generalists. By the end of 2018 we were 5 dedicated feed managers and working with 3x the number of advertisers, by the end of 2018 my team members were the ones driving new strategy and surprising me constantly with their new ideas. In 2018 I also began expanding our Amazon Ads services. By the end of 2018 we were driving an average of 74% revenue increases and 12% ROAS increases for our advertisers.
