As Head of Advertiser Solutions, Richard is responsible for the Strategic Planning, Product and Platform and Project Management teams, who deliver solutions for Yahoo!’s agency and client direct partners. By developing and presenting category specific insight material for clients, agency partners and industry forums, Richard also works with Agency Sales and Commercial development to identify marketplace revenue opportunities. Richard studied media in Melbourne way back in 1995. After completing his studies, he started media life working at Australia’s largest media planning and buying independent, AIS Media, as a researcher. Over the next ten years, Richard worked his way through a number of traditional roles from buyer and planner through to managing agency research needs and writing custom publications for clients and agency national networks.
2002 saw Richard taking on the role of Communications Director at Starcom Worldwide in Melbourne, managing a client portfolio across the Finance and FMCG categories. He joined Yahoo! in 2005 as a Strategic Planner.
