James Pazhavila joined Microsoft in 2004 and has had a rich set of experiences spanning functions and products, including user research on the very first Surface (which was the size of a coffee table!), optimizing the revenue yield of the Bing-Yahoo partnership, orchestrating the go-to-market plan for Windows Phone 8, leading the commercial devices strategy for Windows 10, and developing rich analytical insights for digital marketers. The common thread has been his love for taking the customer’s perspective, using data to answer their toughest questions, and building long-term strategies for their most pressing business challenges.
